Half House is an easy two block stroll to the quaint village of Charlevoix for shopping, dining, marina, ferry, drawbridge and music in the park. Everything you will need for a comfortable vacation is included: luxurious cotton bed linens and towels, firewood and kindling, free wireless internet, books, music, Roku smart flatscreen TV with streaming channels and DVD player, kitchenware, beach chairs, plus an endless supply of hot water! The inside felt very homey, it was easy to settle. I should note it’s part of a historic architectural house, so people did take pictures of the house and approach it and the curtains covered us but were sheer. This home is absolutely delightful and charming. Bill is great to assist in anything that is needed. The house is so well-stocked with anything you might need. Nothing beats the view of Lake Michigan right out the front window or sitting in the chairs outside. Your home was cozy, clean, comfortable and oh so interesting! I was so glad to have such great reading materials on the history of the home available since we were stopped frequently by people curious about the property - how fun to be able to answer some of their questions and recommend a stay in person. The location was perfect in that it was a short walk to the beach, and a short walk to town. There was a nice walking trail across the street and beautiful neighborhood to walk through as well.
