This cottage is situated in a sort after location amongst the undulating hills of Old Quinns Rocks settlement. A short stroll will bring you to beautiful white, sandy beaches. The blissful bird filled gardens and great views of the valley and ocean as well as a large alfresco area, it is perfect for any style of holiday. It is a fully self-contained timber cottage with pine floors and full glass frontage. The open plan kitchen, dining, lounge area that opens up to a large comfortable verandah. From every room, there is a wonderful outlook. This property has WiFi, reverse cycle air-conditioner, TV, DVD, stereo, dishwasher, washing machine, BBQ, outdoor hot water shower, beach towels and hair dryer, provided. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Bedroom 1 is large with a Queen size bed. Bedroom 2 contains 1 King single and 1 single bed. Comfortable and equipped with everything we needed including a good coffee machine to make espressos like in a cafe, it was ideally situated on a hill close to the beach but not directly on the waterfront so no direct winds. Especially well done was the furniture and inside decoration and arrangement of the house. We met the owner who was very friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. The ocean road is just a few minutes away if walking, and the beach with shark net and lifeguards is about a 15-minute walk or quick drive. Buses do go right by the house regularly, but we'd recommend a car rental. Quinns is the north end of the Perth suburbs, but it's easy to drive into the city, about forty minutes or so on the highway. For groceries, we recommend going north to Butler to the Coles or the new plaza with Woolies etc. Much less crowded than the grocery stores at the Clarkson mall, and easier parking. The house was absolutely spotless and well-appointed. The artistic, whimsical decor was homey and gave the house a lovely personality. The front deck was nice, and we especially loved the pergola in the backyard. So comfortable and peaceful. Outdoor relaxing at its best! We felt quite at home. Helen was a wonderful host. Friendly and responsive, and she was quick to bring up a new replacement pedestal fan for us. We only used the AC a few times when it was a real heat wave.
