Perkins Pond

Upon arrival, we had trouble turning on the TV because the remote wasn’t working properly. We called the Hideaway Inn’s phone number, and the representative assured us that the innkeeper would come to help. Unfortunately, no one ever showed up. After troubleshooting the issue ourselves, we figured out that plugging the Roku into a different HDMI port solved the problem. We also noticed that the remote’s batteries were nearly dead. It was disappointing that no one followed up or came to assist us, especially after we were told someone would. Additionally, the bed had an unpleasant, unusual smell, which made our stay less comfortable. Overall, we were disappointed with the lack of service and attention to basic room maintenance.

I loved everything about this place. I only wish they had softer mattresses, but I feel like that’s the case with all hotels/ b&b’s. Would recommend this place to anyone!
