"Lovely old school cabins. Updated with lots of current amenities like outlets and very good tv. Beach was beautiful! Friendly staff. A bit of dust behind and under furniture which is not a deal breaker for us, it’s a beach cabin, not a 5 star hotel. Comfy beds, sofa was a little well-loved, lol (seen better days). Only stayed one night but will be back."

"I guess our stayed turned into future stay recon work because after understanding the area our kayaks would of been a great assett. Largo springs was on the top of our list but it was under construction, The lumberman monument park was cool tho we didnt commit To the 200 plus stairs down and back up but weather was perfect for a good leg stretch and site seeing. We went thrift shopping in tawas visted a shore park there as well. All of our dining was at the rental because who wants to spend all their time away from such a relaxing back deck. Loved the porch swing and thoroughly felt soothed by the hot tub. Wonderful place to have a bon fire and a cup of coffee."

"Golden on the lake was just the cabin we needed for a weekend away. It had enough space for our group, comfy beds and furniture. There were little details the hosts provided that just took things to the next level. Hot tub was clean and got nice and toasty. View from the back deck was spectacular."

"The employee that checked us in was pleasant. The room was basic but clean-ish. I say that because yes, the toilet and sink were clean but around the light switches, floor corners, door handles etc were dirty. Not a deal breaker, just noticed. The room had a fridge, microwave and plug ins for electronics. Overall, a decent room for the price. Would stay there again,at this time of year. Im sure during the summer the price might be higher and then it wouldnt be worth it to me."

"Overall, the cabin was wonderful, clean appliances heating air all worked. Fire pit and BBq were great to use. The lake access was sketchy at best, there needs to be a ladder or kayak launch to use. Also, it would have been forthright to mention the Pfas in the lake. Didn't know that until I got there, so went fishing on the AuSable upper flats instead.Recommend: some updating on furniture, remove carpet for vinal flooring maybe. Love the woodsy decor though. Had a nice week there. Thanks for everything."
