However, we did not realize that you must drive a mile down the road to public beach #4 for beach access. Thankfully, we were there during the off-season, and we found parking at the beach access easily each day. Other children met our group outside and played together in the culdesac each evening which really made my heart happy. We enjoyed that it was walking distance to FloraBama and its restaurants. Would be nice to be able to access the beach without having to go through the bar so you could bring a cooler. The house was a great size and full of space for the kids to play separately from the adults.
