Birds Eye View is a private mountain home situated at the top of a ridge on 4 wooded acres with long-range views just minutes from Dupont Forest, Pisgah National Park, Brevard and Hendersonville. There are too many activities close-by to list; from amazing hiking, mountain biking, fishing, sliding rock, tubing, waterfalls, shopping, brew tours, wineries, Fall Festivals, Brevard Music Festival, Mountain jams at Cedar Mountain Canteen, Apple Picking at Jeter Mountain Farm or Sky Top Orchard, Live theatre at the Flat Rock Playhouse and more all minutes away. You may not want to leave the house though - Enjoy the cool summers, beautiful winters, incredible spring, or the fall leaf season right from the back deck! The home is perfect for a multi-family vacation with three master bedrooms each on their own floor that all have mountain views, king-sized beds and ceiling fans. There is also a large kids' room with 2 twin beds, with a rollaway bed. There are plenty of things to do without leaving the property. Enjoy one of the swings perfectly situated to enjoy the views, play cornhole in the back yard, explore the property for blueberries in the summer, play games around the kitchen table, play foosball in the kids' hangout, or a play a game of Mortal Kombat in the loft. When you pull up the driveway, you will immediately be greeted by the inviting covered front porch with rocking chairs perfect for enjoying coffee or book on a rainy morning. When you walk in the door, you will be impressed by the 2 story views, open floor plan, and cozy living room with plenty of seating around the wood burning fireplace. The kitchen and dining area are right off the living room, so if you are traveling with a guest who is looking for something with minimal stairs, this setup is perfect as there are only 2 small stairs to enter the home and you can access the main living area, kitchen, laundry and master bedroom without climbing any stairs. Off the living/kitchen, you will find a deck with lounge seating and dining table for enjoying the amazing sunset views or a morning cup of coffee in the cool mountain air. The birdwatching from the kitchen is amazing and we will make sure that the feeders are filled before your visit (although there is no guarantee that the white squirrel does not eat it all). It is also common to see an occasional Black Bear, Deer, Turkey, Rabbits and even a few Bobcat sightings, so be sure to keep a lookout. You never know what you might see. Just off the living room, the main floor Master Bedroom has a large 60" flat screen TV, an ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower and 4 separate shower heads including a large rain shower. Downstairs you will find the full basement with a second living room with large sectional sofa (perfect for teen sleeping) a 65” Flat Screen TV with sound bar, wet bar with icemaker and access to the backyard firepit and swings. We have a cornhole set for your use as well. This level features a private master bedroom with King-sized Bed and luxury master bath with walk-in shower with rain shower head. The top floor features a third master bedroom with amazing views and a 60” flat screen TV. This room shares a bathroom with the fourth bedroom located across from the loft. The upstairs bathroom has a double vanity and a tub/shower combo. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds and a fold-away bed or room for an airbed. This bedroom is a great kid hangout with a 35” flat screen TV, a foosball table and an "eagles’ nest" play nook tucked away behind a secret door and filled with toys, books and a reading area. The upstairs loft also has a Mortal Kombat video game and a desk overlooking the amazing mountain views. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook a family meal or Thanksgiving dinner and we offer a basic supply of spices, oils, coffee, paper towels to get your vacation started. You will have plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a perfect mountain vacation at Birds Eye View. Although the property is accessible for most vehicles we do recommend AWD or 4 WD especially for winter. Home was incredibly clean and perfect setup for 3 couples. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom split between the 3 levels. Hosts were very communicative beginning prior to our stay. We never had any issues with the property and the hosts were super kind and responsive. House was well stocked with more than we needed. The setup on this house was wonderful with basically three master bedrooms on three levels with an added bonus bedroom on the top floor, which makes it great for three couples or a large family.The house is impeccably clean, well stocked, has a view for miles, and the owners have put together a wonderful book with restaurant & brewery recommendations along with very helpful hiking options. And the location is so convenient to everywhere: Brevard, Mills River (Sierra Nevada a must for anyone who has never been!), and Hendersonville. Upon recommendation from the owner, we checked out Jeter Mountain Farm, which is just a few miles from the house. What a find! We went by to kill time on the first day before checking into the house and had such a great time that we went back the following weekend with our grown kids to pick blackberries & peaches. The house is spacious with a lot of great extras. The two showers are fantastic. There are swings downstairs and a porch swing off to the side of the house that feels like being in a garden. Our granddaughter loved the hidden playroom. There were 6 of us and we could have comfortably added 2 more. We had a lot of visits from birds, chipmunks, squirrels, and rabbits. We enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife. We had plenty of parking for 3 SUV’s and no issues with the driveway. We had one question about a fan and the property manager and owner quickly got in touch. This home is close to both Hendersonville and Brevard. We come to the area every school break and this was one of our favorite homes. ##### Tracy G. Our family just returned from a week stay in this perfect Birds Eye view house. First I will say our hosts Dave and Marie were wonderful and probably the best experience we ever had. Not only did they provide a very detailed book of the house and recommendations for the area they allowed us to check in almost a full half day early. They immediately texted me once arrived asking if we needed anything and even offered to call me to go over in depth the questions I had about their recommendations. I got a text back immediately anytime I had a question, would book this place again just based on the hospitality alone. The house itself had breathtaking views of the mountains, a fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of space for all your sleeping needs. The beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms had very big showers. You literally don’t need to bring anything during your vacation, the house was full of every kitchen appliance, towels, games, trash bags, cleaning suppliers you name it! They even left us a s’mores kit with all the essentials needed for a family fire. The fire pit was perfect and at night you can look up and see many stars, with a telescope in the home. If you have kids I will say there is a secret oasis for them to enjoy inside not listed in the pictures. I don’t want to give it away but it is a perfect surprise for the kiddos. The location was close to everything you could possibly do in the area. Loved our stay and will stay here again the next time we visit NC! ##### Matthew C. The playroom was a favorite for our grandchildren. They left a message on the chalkboard saying “Goodbye best house in the world (besides home)”. We all had such a happy time in this happy house! Plenty of room and accommodations for everyone ages 8 months-72\. Beautiful views, well stocked house (it was Thanksgiving and the house kept providing those seldom used items that we forgot), and generous host that has excellent communication. The house is also in a perfect location. It's on 3.5 acres so feels secluded but there are neighbors not too far, 15 minutes to grocery store and in DuPont so tons of great trails nearby. ##### Monica F.
