Close to Carmel, Monterey and Big Sur? Do you want to fall asleep with the sound of the ocean out the window and wake up to the sun shining on the pacific? Look no further! With hundreds of the World’s best golf courses and dining opportunitites within 20 minutes of the house, you will have easy access to the best kind of vacation. The easy access to outdoor activities (walking, running, hiking, golfing) provide rejuvenating opportunities. We hope you will join us. This light, bright & open contemporary Pebble Beach home located halfway between Pebble Beach golf Links and Cypress Point club - within walking distance to The Lodge and adjacent to the Lone Cypress tree along the 17 Mile drive with views of the Pacific from almost every window is the perfect getaway. This home, originally built in 1970 in the Sea Ranch Style has recently undergone a complete remodel. The open kitchen/great room now has additional windows to the sweeping views of the Pacific where you can watch the waves crash and the otters play. A large wood deck opens towards the ocean through sliding doors from the Kitchen. This is the area where you will spend 90% of your time when in the house! There are three buildings on the property. The main house, the guest house and the garage. The main house includes a huge Primary bedroom with a King Size bed and ensuite bath complete with double sinks and walk-in closets. The primary bedroom also includes a large sitting area with sliding door access to an adjacent outdoor patio. Up the stairs is a second large bedroom and a loft space separated by a bathroom. This bedroom boasts a King bed. The loft/den adjacent to the upstairs bedroom has a sitting area with a Flat screen TV and a pull-out sofa for sleeping additional guests. This rental includes a detached 300 square foot guest house. This separate space is the perfect solution for either teens, in-laws, or couples - allowing for private space - yet connection to the main house via the patio - all behind the locked gate. The Guest house has a mini-fridge, it's own en-suite bath with shower/tub and in the sleeping area has a Flat Screen TV and a great reading chair, dresser and book shelf. The very large living room with its abundant windows provides views to the ocean. There is a large dining table in this room to either gather to play games, do a little work or eat a meal. The newly renovated kitchen/great room has a sliding glass door out to an ocean side deck, a large flat screen TV in the sitting area, full sized washer/dryers behind a pocket door, all new top of the line appliances, a large island with seating and great views of the ocean. Each of the three full bathrooms have also been completed remodeled with all new plumbing, cabinets, flooring, lighting. The bathrooms are roomy, bright, modern and VERY functional. There is also a powder room right off the main entrance in what used to be a small closet. There is ample parking at the top of the driveway as well as a several spots along the 17 mile drive, which belong to this property exclusively. There are times when 1 or 2 spaces are available for use in the garage. (please ask if interested). The property also has a Tesla charger in the garage and is available for guests. Enjoy your morning tea/coffee from one of three outdoor patio areas and watch deer, listen for birds, and observe the beauty of the Del Monte Forest which surrounds this special home. You might find more luxurious options, you might find cheaper options, but I can guarantee you won't find another place as unique, special and timeless as this modern tree house in the heart of the Del Monte Forest with the wide pacific expanse out your front door. We truly enjoyed our time exploring the history that was shared and admiring the fun and unique decor throughout the space. The Cole House is a very comfortable California style home with lots of glass to view the ocean across the street, and fully updated living and kitchen areas with decorative nods to the home's 1960's heritage. Multiple indoor and outdoor sitting areas provide ample space to visit or just relax and listen to the waves. It was a great house and location for our group of three couples. We had three couples and all three rooms were so comfortable and cozy. Enjoyed our view of the Water inside and outside while sitting around the fire pit. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked several meals during our stay. Loved walking across the street to the Lone Cypress tree and along 17 mile dr. Can’t wait to return. It’s everything one can imagine, scenic views, casual split level living, great for a family gathering, close to Carmel-by-the-Sea but yet away from it all. However the results are in: they had a great experience. I was sent multiple videos of how amazing the property and the architecture of this gem. I did have a great experience with communication with Tracy. I was told the check in was easy and it was clean. What we call white glove delivery. The house is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfy and plenty of extra towels and sheets were provided. The kitchen had everything anyone would need. The setting is so peaceful and we enjoyed being able to see the ocean from most rooms in the house. Sitting on the patio with the firepit going and listening to the sounds of the ocean was so restful. The check-in and check-out process was easy. We particularly enjoyed the three-ring binder in the kitchen that had ALL the info you could possibly need. But what we really enjoyed about the binder was reading the history of the original owner (so interesting) and seeing the before and after pictures of the remodel. So well done! What a beautiful home with great amenities, including plush white robes, fluffy pillows that made us want to stay in bed, nice smelling soaps and shampoos/conditioners in the bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, including a huge fridge full of condiments, and every utensil and pot/pan you would need. There is also a welcome bar in the living room with a huge assortment of spirits and a sweet sign inviting us to enjoy a drink. There was a nice patio off the kitchen where we got to sip our coffee in the morning looking out on the ocean as well as a wonderful patio off the living room where we got to enjoy wine and a charcuterie board, with a fire pit table where we watched and listened to the ocean. We stayed out there all evening! It was so peaceful! I never wanted that night to end. Plus, the house is surrounded by trees, so you feel like you are in a forest, away from anyone. We were greeted on Saturday morning by a buck and two fawns, which was breathtaking. Something else that took our breath away was the man that built and lived in the home. He is a WWII veteran HERO, and we loved reading about everything he was a part of, including rescuing a bunch of people from a concentration camp! We have so many precious memories from our trip to this beautiful home. This was our first sisters trip, and this home made it perfect! The home was located right across from the famous Lone Cypress Tree along 17 mi. Drive. Just a beautiful setting that Carmel has to offer! The home was immaculate! Everything you need was readily available! The only suggestion I can possibly make for the home is having a Nespresso machine! That would have made me so happy! But they did provide all the coffee and condiments ! not to mention a nice stocked bar !! The beds were also super comfortable and the linens were nice! The back house was so equally cute and was perfect as well! I can’t thank Cindy and Tracy enough for making our stay that much more enjoyable! Excellent communication and excellent service! I really hope I can come back and stay in this beautiful home again! My whole family loved it! Thank you so so much! ##### Jennie M.
