« Large 1970s house. Tidy and good location to beach, cafes and 4 square shop. Reasonably happy with stay but there some things that need addressing.1) Upstairs Queen bed- the mattress springs gone on the right side and the mattress feels like you are sleeping on a slope. Definitely needs replacing 2) Lack of outdoor chairs on the deck 3) Pool cue sticks in garage has lost their tips and need to be replaced 4) outside furniture (table and chairs could do with a good clean or be replaced 5) BBQ -...

« Highly recommend this accommodation if you are seeking a private, secluded place to stay but within easy, short travel to the city (any of Wgtn, Lower Hutt or Porirua). The deck area is fantastic - a view of the forest, great couches and the hot tub. We will definitely book again. »

« Our stay here was twofold. One: quality time together and Two: a tryout for the young dogs in a boarding kennel not far away. The last night the dogs stayed with us. The bach was awesome. Very well laid out and complete. If anything, we couldn’t find any ice cube trays so our G&T was a bit make do. For the rest just great. Hear the moreporks at night, swim in the river at Pots Reserve. Best kept secret: Kuku Beach. Don’t go there folks to keep it a secret 😁 »

« This is an exceptional property set in a beautiful rural location with exquisite views over landscaped gardens. It is so peaceful that you feel as though you’re miles from anywhere when you’re actually only 2km (a lovely walk!) from the town boundary. « Great traditional bach dating to 1957. Everything we needed was there. No dishwasher but not really needed. My only gripe I kept banging my head on the low hanging name sign over the middle of the back door. »

« This house is located in a beautiful spot. You just walk through the garden to the beach. It is very clean and comfortable with everything you need. It is a very short walk to cafes, restaurants and a Four Square. We had walks on the beach and we also brought our bikes and explored the well maintained, easy cycle trail at the estuary. Highly recommend »
