This hotel was amazing, and not expensive; the quality and facilities (in the room I was given, which was a generous twin room) were way out in front of the norm. Food, service, location, ambience - all excellent. Highly recommended.

My stay at the Arkadenhaus hotel was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the hotel manager. Despite my limited understanding of German, the manager went above and beyond to help me find the places I wanted to visit. Their patience and dedication made my trip much smoother and more enjoyable. The hotel itself was comfortable and well-maintained, but it was the manager's extra effort that really stood out. I highly recommend the Arkadenhaus for anyone looking for a welcoming and supportive stay.

One night business stay

Parking is easy, neighbour hood safe. Room was nice, some things may have been overlooked during cleaning and some should see some maintenance, but overall no reason not to book this hotel. With 85 Euro/night the price is reasonable. When in Papenburg again, we will probably book this hotel again. Friendly staff.

Frankly, we had just been to Auschwitz, and the display luggage in the foyer gave us shivers. The dining area is chaotic - from furnishings to organization. Check-in was rude. We were not allowed to leave luggage beforehand.

Das Zimmer (Standard) war sehr schön und gleichzeitig funktional eingerichtet. Das offene Gastro-Konzept wurde nur für einen Drink am Abend genutzt. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr nett und freundlich. Leider löste in einer Nacht gegen 01:30 Uhr der Feueralarm aus. Glücklicherweise brannte es nicht! Das weder Feuerwehr noch Polizei jemanden vom Hotel erreichen konnte, machte das Ganze allerdings nicht wirklich besser. Das hinterließ kein gutes Gefühl.

Was mir sehr gefallen hat die Maleitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und höflich was mir weniger gefallen hat wer hat denn in unserer Suite eine Küche die Ausstattung war ja miserabel bis nicht vorhanden ähm auf dem Schreibtisch in der Sweet War die lampe defekt der schirm ist kaputt die dusche läuft nicht richtig abja die kerze in der dusche die elektrische geht nicht und ist auch sehr verstaubtsonst im grossen und ganzen ein sehr schönes hotel und doch empfehlenswert aber auch so kleine punkte müssten sie mal achten sonst war alles super
