« Comfy bed, friendly staff, hot shower. WiFi is horrible, you need to sit outside to have good signal. The building is staff house for staff of several resorts on the island. No holiday atmosphere. People really live there. Dirty towel of guest before me was in the closet. Staff is friendly but could explain all the buttons in the room (hot water/airco etv) and be a bit more hospitable. »

« Die Ocean Lodge auf Langkawi war wundervoll, vor allem Dank der liebevollen Gastgeber Nanthi und Didi. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Frühstück genossen und viele Tipps von Didi bekommen. Er hat unere Touren gebucht und alles hat immer super geklappt. Wir können die Ocean Lodge absolut empfehlen und vielleicht schauen wir eines Tages wieder vorbei. DANKE! »

« Padimas provides very nice, comfortable houses for rent at the north end of Langkawi Island. This is a perfect place to stay if you want to relax and get some peace and quiet, as it's away from everything. The flipside of this is that you'll have to drive to get anywhere. In terms of service, they are very helpful about providing anything you need. Make sure to contact the owner and let him know what time you'll arrive. »

"La chambre réservée n’était pas celle que j’ai eu à mon arrivée. Il y avait de la moisissure sur l’évier, quand on prend sa douche, l’eau met du temps à évacuer et avec la chaleur, ça sent mauvais. À certains endroits, c’était rouillé. J’ai retrouvé une gourde avec un fin de jus sur une commode. Je n’ai pas eu de wifi alors que normalement j’aurais dû en avoir durant mon séjour. Pendant 24h, le 28 février, vers 6h30, coupure de courant et ça a duré toute la journée, le soir aussi (je n’étais pas la seule, ma voisine d’en dessous aussi, à subi la coupure de courant), donc pas clim. Il n’y avait que le frigo qui fonctionnait (et heureusement vu qu’il y avait ma nourriture et de l’eau). Du coup, à l’accueil, c’était froid. On m’avait donné une première chambre qui ne correspondait pas à ce que j’avais réservé (treehouse avec vue sur l’océan). Quand j’en parle, la réceptionniste appelle une collègue à elle. Celle ci me demande ce qu’il ne va pas et limite elle était « agacée ». Elle me dit qu’il y avait un problème avec la chambre, qu’elle était le problème mdr bah j’ai payé pour 4 nuits (272 euros) et ça ne correspond pas du tout. Lors du Check out, pas de bonjour de celle que j’avais vu en premier (trop concentrer à être sur son téléphone) et pareil elle avait « égarée » les 100 MYR de caution que j’avais donné lors du Check in, c’est quelqu’un du service qui a dû lui donner … "
