This VRBO is right at the base of a mountain and pretty close to a river, a lovely setting. The inside of the home was fantastic and met all our needs. It's adjacent to another rental location which might have been good to know but that worked out just fine. Wifi info is mentioned on the first page of the blue journal book on the kitchen counter. So much great art. Washer and dryer. Quiet surroundings. Fresh bread and marmalade jam. This was a perfect location (north of Anchorage) and option for a group of two couples looking to see authentic Alaska for a few days before hopping on a cruise ship in Whittier (just south of Anchorage). Dennis’s place was a thousand times better than paying for two overpriced hotel rooms in the middle of town in Anchorage. Coming from the lower 48 means late arrivals in the dark at the end of a long travel day, and the check-in process couldn’t have been easier for us weary travelers. Highly recommend! ##### Craig P.
