The best time to go to Palaiomonastiron is during the shoulder seasons, specifically April to early June and September to October.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm but not excessively hot temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the monasteries and the surrounding natural beauty. You'll also find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed and reflective experience.

For those planning a hiking-focused trip, the spring months (April-May) are particularly good. The landscape is lush and green, and the wildflowers are in bloom, adding to the scenic trails around the Meteora rocks.
