Lovely view from balcony.

Lovely bug room with everything you woukd want in it. It needs a bit of TLC in the bathroom but we lo ed the space, balcony and view of the mountain. Breakfast had a good choice. Shame the restaurant closed early in the evening. We had to drive elsewhere but plenty of options withi 10min drive.

ACCOMODATION IN KHAO-YAI

The Hotel was not occupied except for our group of four couples during our stay and hence was extremely quiet. Breakfast provided was alright. The room was clean and service staff were obliging although communication in English was sometime difficult. Location of Hotel was alright if you have transport as there was nothing available surrounding the Hotel.

Free Upgrade

Free upgrade was great. Only thing is the cleanliness of the bathroom, the soap and it's packet used by the previous guest still stayed at the soap rack, but there was no more shower gel left in the container, after informed the reception, the staff has came to refill the shower gel, but the soap and it's packet still left behind.....bathroom need some cleaning work especially the faucet... look dull

Quiet and relaxing

An enjoyable 3 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is new (when we stayed in 2018) and clean. It's away from the main strip in Khao Yai and if you stay here you will most likely need your own transport, although I think there were motorcycles and bicycles for hire from the hotel. The restaurant was very quiet at night - there was no lounge/bar at the hotel but drinks & beer were available in the restaurant. Outside the hotel there is nowhere within walking distance to eat or drink - you will need transport to get to a bar or restaurant. There are no tuk-tuks nearby. The swimming pool was clean. seemed to get most use and be popular with children late afternoon and early evening, when the sun was not so hot. A very nice, peaceful hotel; comfortable bed and a good nights sleep. We had a nice view of a nearby mountain from our hotel room. The balcony was a nice size for sitting outside and relaxing. Free wi-fi - decent connection & speed. We would be happy to stay here again when we want a relaxing stress free break.

Hotel well located, but not foreigners oriented

We called the hotel 2 days before our arrival to book 1 scooter for us. They say “no problem “ we will have scooter for you. When we arrived there, it was impossible to find a scooter. All the scooters were booked already. As we wanted to go to the national park by scooter, we were very disappointed. Finally they found a scooter for us the second day.

Decent location and comfortable stay

The location for Splendid Hotel was convenient, with most of the attractions at Khao Yai within reach in 10 minutes. For the hotel itself, the facilities included a gym and a small swimming pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful, although the lack of command of English made it difficult to communicate. The beds were very comfortable and it was overall an pleasant stay. Downsides: 1) There were quite a few insects along the hallway, reason being that the hotel is located right next to a forest. 2) TV had limited selection of channels and were limited to Thai channels 3) Breakfast was average, with the same cooked food menu of hotdogs, ham, sunny side eggs, some porridge/soup and a staple (fried rice or fried noodles) each day. We did not try the salads as there were flies hovering around the vegetables and fruits. Toast, coffee and tea were also provided. Suggest to consider having breakfast elsewhere.

Great stay.

Amazing hotel. The rooms assigned to my family is facing the hill - lots of fresh air. Room spacious and clean. Kids loves the toy room and the teenagers & adults loves the game room. Only area for improvement is the breakfast selection. Same food for both morning. Staffs are friendly and Super helpful. As it’s near to the natural reserve, insects are common.

Great location off the main Pak Chong to Khao Yai Rd. Staff very helpful with arranging transport. Very good well priced food in the hotel restaurant. Front office staff made the stay a very enjoyable one. Will definitely return visit the Spendid.
