"The check-in process at the desk was painfully slow. The lobby, meeting room, and restaurant were shabby and outdated. The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. We got to the room and the beds were slept in and unmade. There were wet towels and garbage everywhere. The room clearly hadnt been cleaned and also smelled. We didnt end up staying and got a refund."

"The room was VERY clean and large, the AC and heat worked well, the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was quiet at night, and located next to several restaurants. Would definitely stay again. "

"Breakfast and staff were great. Parking felt safe and was very convenient as we were on the first floor. Rooms are a little outdated but were clean. Our mattress was pretty awful unfortunately. Our key cards would not work so we needed to go to the front desk every time we wanted to get into our room. Staff was very friendly. "

"The front desk girl was wonderful. Quick and pleasant check in. However, our king bed room we booked was obviously being used or squatted. We unlocked the door to an obviously in use room. She was confused herself because the system said it was available. The "upgrade" was 2 queen beds. The room was much more run down than the one we walked into. The hotel itself was run down, but it did appear as though they are working on it a little at a time. The staff and entry were good. Beds were comfortable and we slept well which is the important thing. We were just staying over on the way to South Carolina. "

"The photos on VRBO radically undersell this property! The owners have done an amazing and adorable job decorating, making the whole property feel cozy, fun, and super clean. The location im Historic Point Pleasant was incredibly convenient and we had a great time! We can't wait to stay again. 10/10, no notes."

"We checked in late and it was dark. Host responded to our text, came to help us if needed. I didn't see a hot tub... and there was no breakfast. I read somewhere there was but it's ok. The place allows family to all rest in one area together, which with kids is great. The river is pretty. Also it has 1 full or queen, 1 bunk bed. And a loft which is high up appropriate for a teen. And a small couch, not big enough to sleep on. So truly this would sleep 4-5. Unless you had a small kid ok to sleep on couch. I would go back :) they did have little snacks on the microwave like granola bars and a small coffee pot. Cute place, I'd love to see it in the summer. This is a good review not negative. You should check it out. "

"What a what a beautiful place in a beautiful spot! Pefect size for me and my daughter who were visiting Point Pleasant for everything Mothman! We stayed a couple of nights and it was so peaceful and very accommodating. Just a lovely little place for a peaceful getaway! Will definitely be back!"

"Our family really enjoyed our one-night stay at this cabin. It's a cool, unique spot right on the river a few miles away from Gallipolis. Very peaceful. The cabin was clean, beds were comfortable, and it had everything we needed. The host was very helpful and friendly. Also, it was very pet-friendly. We'd definitely stay again next time in the area. "horrible hotel. there were stains all over the sheets, the entire place reeked of cigarette smoke, mold and rust in the tub and around the sink, stains and chips all over the walls. the staff at the front desk was not welcoming or helpful in the slightest. don’t waste your money. "
