The suite that we were in was clean, cozy and comfortable. Our host Anne was very attentive and friendly. Her communication with us was excellent. If we’re in that area again, we will definitely say there again.

I liked the quiet setting and spacious, well appointed suite. We were warned at the last minute that the internet/TV would be out during our time there. That was difficult.

It is a quiet place. The property is very spacious with a full sized kitchen, bathroom with a separate shower area, and a large open concept lounge area that is part of the kitchen area and dinette. The location is in a residential area so you need to drive to amenities, but that’s a benefit if you are looking for something peaceful.

The location was great, just a mile away from town
The Studio room is a bit odd in it's arrangement. I was concerned about the glass shower in the room. I was worried that my husband would run into the glass wall in the middle of the night when going to the bathroom. I ended up leaving the light on in the bathroom so he would see it on his way. Other than that, the only weird thing was that the gentleman in the other place (that we had to walk past when getting to the Studio) didn't close his shades and he was - how can I say it - not shy?

Hello there, the glass shower is 5 by 7 feet, with custom designed slate tile. A shower fit for a king, but yes, it can be dangerous is anyone walks into a glass wall. I'm not sure what you refer to with the guests in the other suite? It sounds like they were enjoying their suite! Did you have a good rest on the king sized Kingsdown bed? And did you enjoy the beautiful rural surroundings? Your suite has many windows, giving you a full view of the lush green countryside. The suite was beautiful and very quiet...it felt like a sanctuary. The keyless entry was a plus. The amenities were awesome including real Half and Half for the coffee and a wide selection of coffees to chose from. The bed was comfortable. Everything about this suite was perfect.

I had a very pleasant stay - I was in Kemptville for training. The south suite was as described with a very comfortable king bed. Anne takes the time to add some extra touches that make your stay delightful. The location is out of town and very quiet - I certainly would recommend.

Comfortable and full kitchen
We enjoyed our one night stay at Abbott Suites. It had everything we needed in its full kitchen. Lots of extras in the bath in case we'd forgotten anything. The area is rather rural and while there's a Starbucks nearby it's fairly isolated unless your driving the 20 min. to Ottawa.

Abbott Road Suites, a wonderful place to stay!
It was a very nice place to stay. The King size bed was extremely comfortable. The bed was made beautifully and when you went to sleep, it was just like sleeping at home. There was plenty of room to put away your things, ideal for a few nights stay. It's very convenient that the toilet is in its own separate room. There were toiletries, very clean towels, toilet paper, blow dryer, curling iron...you name it! An extreme delight for us and certainly worth the price.

Nice and clean
Nice place, very clean. I stayed with 3 adults, did not sleep at all on the pull out couch. I ended up folding it back up and sleeping on just the couch. The floors are squeaky, so a bathroom break at night may wake up the other guests. Perfect for a couple, country setting, so your able to go for a nice walk in the morning. Lots of little extras you don't find in a hotel room.

Great little getaway.
My wife and I wanted a little getaway to celebrate a special occasion. It was mid week and we couldn't get away from work for long, so this place really fit the bill. The suite was spacious, clean and well equipped. The location was quiet and very well maintained and our hosts were extremely friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend as a great alternative to spending much more, for much less, in the city. Kemptville has all you need and isn't far from downtown Ottawa.

Perfect hidden gem
The set up of the room was lovely, as was the couple who ran it! The bed was so super comfy! Unfortunate that the jets in the beautiful shower couldn't be used cause they looked like such a treat. And would be more effective if the communication was clearer (how breakfast worked, how check out worked) as we had to leave early and there was no one to ask. Room was stocked with everything you needed. Only regret was that we couldn't stay longer and enjoy our stay more thoroughly (we were tied up at a wedding)

Booked a B&B. The place looked great online. When I went there the owner moved me to different B&B a few miles down the road. It wasn't nearly as nice as what was advertised. The bait and switch wasn't appreciated. That said the place I ended up in was OK. Checking in late i really had no recourse. Left a sour taste in my mouth. Not at all happy with HOTELS.COM How did they let this happen?

Very easy check-in procedure (you're emailed a code a few days before). The room was large and had a nice and comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and spacious. For a bed and breakfast type establishment, it was weird that breakfast was not served, especially considering the booking site listed meals as "all-inclusive". Not sure where the disconnect was on that. The breaker tripped twice during our trip while we were trying to use the a/c. Eventually a long extension cord was used, which was draped across our room and stairs. Not ideal, but better than no a/c. The Wi-Fi was horrible, so if you're looking to do any business there, you best go to a local Tim Hortons or McDonalds for their Wi-Fi. Overall, a comfortable room, but we could hear everything that went on outside. Luckily our neighbours were quiet. Not a bad stay, but not sure we would return.

Great stay - Very Peaceful.
The property was a rural setting. It was very quiet and peaceful. There is not a lot happening in Kemptville, but this was just the place to stay for quiet comfort. I stayed in the South Suite and it was perfect for one person or a couple.

Just what the Doctor ordered
My Wife had day surgery at the Kemptville Hospital. We decided to sleep here the night before the early morning appointment and also stay an extra night to recuperate from the surgery. The room was as comfortable as any of the 4 and 5 star hotel rooms we've been to in our lifetime. This "Hotel" only has two rooms, and they are separated by the owners quarters who live on site. So the setting is extremely quiet and relaxing, kind of feels like a home away from home or like your own personal cottage. This location was really what the Doctor ordered.

Very nice suite close to all amenities and quiet
Great for a safe scenic run, everything provided for as a home away from home In a quiet country setting. Very close to all amenities , tourist spots, and Ottawa 45 minutes +/- away. Open back yard for children to run and play. Looking forward to a future visit.

Nice and quiet.
It's not a hotel but it is in a rural area that is nice and quiet. The condo is clean with a kitchen, dinning area, and sofa.

Spacious good coffee etc and Had a Urinal Great !
In times when feminist extremists take away urinals that save time and water and equipment costs nice to see it in a new place new use that is in sleeping quarters . Nice in the morning gets frequent use. Spacious but skeptical of use of glass without lines for visually impaired or distracted people could walk into the huge clear glass wall.

Very good
No rating for staff as you check yourself in and out. The room is very clean and comfortable. Very quiet making your stay very nice. The place was excellent and I had a great nights sleep in a very comfy king size bed.

Quiet room on a country R. But close to town
Private, quiet, lots of parking. If my stay had been longer I'd have made use of the BBQ outside. Great place to stay on business or on a couples retreat.

Unique Lodging Experience !
Interesting little place - quiet and comfortable private property with 2 rooms available to rent. No front desk and no apparent staff. The guest gets an access code after completing their reservation, and let's themselves in and out as scheduled. We booked,the smaller room and found it spacious and comfortable. It seemed like it was either newly built or recently renovated - very fresh finishes. Private ensuite bath had a HUGE shower and separate water closet. Great option for the self-reliant traveler.
