I had an absolutely amazing stay at the Swissotel in Osaka and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location is unbeatable, being right above the train station made getting around incredibly easy. It’s also just steps away from the incredible restaurants and bars/clubs in the Dotonbori area. The hotel itself is stunning, with excellent amenities that made the stay even more enjoyable. On top of that, the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our visit. Their laundry service was also very quick and Very gaily priced. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

The room was dated and the shower door was one of those half open styles. But I appreciate the space in the shower and bathroom. The room was comfortable and has an exceptional view of dotonbori. There can be some noise from emergency vehicles, but it is not frequent. The coffee at breakfast was a highlight, the pastries were good, but I felt the eggs at the buffet should have been kept at a warmer temp. Of course the location was the best part of the stay.

Swimming pool can’t be used due to some maintenance excuses. No one answer your call. You have to go downstairs in person to get stuff. Staff are not very professionally trained. The good thing is that it’s above the train station. There’s a strong odor in the whole hotel. Not sure what it is but doesn’t smell right. The furniture and bathroom are 4 star quality.
