Coco Beach is the only public beach and the water is beautiful. The little town has many restaurants and is walkable from many guesthouses and bungalows. A motorcycle can be rented from most places or a free bicycle is usually available.






We fully enjoyed our few days at this hotel - the beach facing huts have all required facilities and are very clean and well maintained. The staff were attentive and keen to help. The beach and sea were lovely, and it was easy to get transport to various parts of the island to explore more ...

I was initially placed on the 10th floor, which had great views, but there was massive construction happening which affected my ability to sleep, so the hotel was nice in moving my room to another building the next day: which was on a 4th floor, so i had a partial view of the city and ocean. I stayed in Ong Lang area because it seemed less busy than Long Beach. Consider using the new hop on/off bus to get to the south of the island for a good price. Metered taxies can be pricey to use all the time as means of transportation.
