"The place was small but highly effective to stay. Great little kitchen full of utensils, table to eat, light and air via windows, the bed was comfortable and so were the chairs. The bathroom had two sinks and a roomy shower. Parking was ample and location close to things. And if you have friends in the area, great place to invite over for a meal or to hang in the clubhouse for a game of billiards or a swim. Would definitely stay here again. "This was a really amazing find. Really close to the downtown and beach. Breakfast does not have meat options, but has amazing options. Free coffee and tea in the lobby all day. View is incredible. You have a reserved parking space. The only negative was on me for not double checking the messages earlier. Apparently we had not objected to a handicap room. There were other rooms that seemed available during our stay, but we had to keep that room. The shower absolutely flooded the entire bathroom each time we took a shower and I kept tripping on the wheelchair ramp to the door. Very beautiful view with chairs on the back lawn."

"The value for the hotel in this high-demand tourist area was excellent. The location meant we could walk to everything (beach, restaurants, The Leavitt Theatre) and relax and not have to deal with traffic. Since we got in VERY late, arrangements were made so we could get the key. My one quibble would be that the plumbing and mechanisms for the shower was a bit difficult and even with a quick shower, could not have more than one person shower before it was all cold water. But a very minor quibble for all"

"We love this little hotel, so close to the beach, reasonable prices and continental breakfast included. However this year our room was not as nice as last year, bathroom in rough shape and a musky odour in the room. But we did pay less. So next year we will be back but we will choose a better room."

"Rooms were large, very clean and comfortable. The grounds were lovely and the pool and hot tubs were very well maintained. Landscaping was well done. Location of property was next to the Marginal Way and several blocks from shops and restaurants. The restaurant on the grounds was very good. Overall a very nice experience."

"This is our second year staying here and we love it! Being right on the beach, walking distance to marginal way and all the little shops on Main Street makes our stay even greater. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. Rooms are clean and updated. We choose to stay on the 3rd floor, port side, so we have to go up 2 flights of stairs (staff help with luggage) but it’s worth it for the view we get!!"
