The bike path is directly behind the property. It’s walking distance to the train station and downtown Oceanside. The unit was perfect for me and my husband. The bedroom has A/C which made sleeping very comfortable. Off street parking was great since parking can be a challenge in Oceanside. Washer and dryer is outside of the unit and easy to use. Came in handy. I had one issue with the toilet( flapper broke). Owner responded very quickly and maintenance was at the unit within the hour to repair it. However, I felt the kitchen was a little lacking in amenities. I had some guests over for dinner one night and found there were only two dinner plates. I feel there should be at least four. There were no pot-holders that I could find and we did have a bottle of wine that required a cork screw, which thankfully my daughter was able to provide. As I noted to John, the screen leading out to the little patio off the bedroom needs a little work. It was difficult to open without it coming completely off the track.
