Starfish Villa \~ D304 at North Coast Village Take a look straight down the beach to the Oceanside Pier, and you’ll be amazed by the breathtaking views from this Penthouse condo. You’ll see the ocean, sand, and pier stretching out for miles, all the way to La Jolla! This condo is located in the ocean-close D building, facing south. It’s been completely renovated with soothing ocean colors, a La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa, recliner, two comfortable chairs with ottomans, and two ocean-view balconies. The kitchen and bathrooms have custom cabinets, gorgeous slab granite countertops, a stone backsplash, and wood-look porcelain tile floors. The main bedroom is on the upper level and has an expansive ocean-view balcony. You can fall asleep to the sound of the waves in new (2023) pillow-top bed with luxurious bedding. The second bedroom has two full-size pillow-top beds. The kitchen is fully equipped, there are three televisions, and free wireless internet is available. Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. The Living Room TV is provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless internet. This condo is just steps from the sand - no roads to cross! In the evening, the Village comes alive with gorgeous colored lighting. Located in northern San Diego County, five minutes off I-5, right next to the Oceanside Harbor (featuring many unique shops and excellent restaurants) and a short walk to Oceanside Pier. Swim, surf, walk the longest stretch of sandy beach in Southern California, kayak, boat, paddle boats, fish, shop, all just steps from your condo. As you walk through the staffed secure gate to North Coast Village, you're transported to a tropical oasis reminiscent of the Costa Rican Rain Forest. Running streams, waterfalls, lush foliage, and Koi meander through the spacious grounds of this resort-like beachfront condominium complex located in Oceanside, California, between the Harbor and the Pier. You will notice the crystal clear heated pool and spa, gleaming barbecues, convenient picnic tables, sand rinsing stations to remove the lingering beach. If you need a break from sun and surf, you might enjoy a game of pool, a jog on a treadmill in the exercise room, a little ping pong, or a sauna. Feeding our giant Koi is a simple pleasure not to be missed during your Oceanside visit. There is also a putting green and foosball. When you venture all the way through the back gates, you find yourself on one of North San Diego County’s finest beaches: broad and flat, with fire rings, volleyball, and great surf breaks - right out back! Be sure to stake out a fire ring (to the left) for a unique evening beach fire at least one night while you are in Oceanside. To the north, you can walk or bike to Oceanside’s busy little harbor for a bite to eat or some boating, and to the south, you can venture down the strand to southern California’s longest pier for some fishing (no license needed). North Coast Village is close enough to walk to everything near the beach, so your car can stay in its secure underground parking spot - especially useful when beach parking becomes a premium in the summer. Parties or events are not allowed at this property. The Mainstreet Oceanside Farmer's Market is a delightful experience near the Pier which takes place every Thursday from 9-1, and and the Sunset Market Thursday evenings from 5-9. Simply gorgeous! Every desire and detail is carefully attended to in this beautiful condo. Pool, hot tub, sauna,Koi fish pond, floral garden paths, easy beach access, sound of the waves 24 seven were all a lovely dream come true! We even walked to the marina to rent kayaks, enjoyed food, ice cream, and shopping before walking back. Only improvement I can think of would be that the complex washer dryers and fitness center machines need maintenance as many of them were not working. We had such a lovely stay. Beautiful condo. View was wonderful overlooking the strand in Oceanside. Just know there is no AC. Was toasty one day as it was hottest day in summer but there was plenty of fans. Just one day warm but then weather/condo was perfect! Harbor you can walk to. Good restaurants and whale/dolphin watching. Close to train. Beautiful pool and hot tub but overran with kids. The property was a good fit for our family of five. The kitchen and linens were well stocked. It was great to be able to walk to the ocean without ever hitting the street. The pool and hot tub were a hit with the family. Two things that would improve the stay are adding more towel, racks and places to hang wet swimsuits and wet towels; and doing something different with the laundry room. This was our first time at North Coast Village and we absolutely loved it. So close to the beach and very family friendly. We enjoyed having a pool and hot tub in addition to the beach. The unit was clean and there was plenty of space for all 6 of us. (2 adults and 2 kids upstairs and in-laws downstairs). The master closet was huge and we put our kids on a queen size air mattress in there. The 2 porches were a plus. Nice kitchen and bathroom. 3 TVs. Everyone had room to do their own thing or hang out in the living/dining area as a family. We really had zero complaints, everything went perfectly! The beach outside of North Coast Village is big and nice and sandy (no rocks like the other end of the Strand.) We also went to Legoland which was only a 15 min drive. ##### Sara M. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo was lovely. Very comfortable. Here are a couple of things that we noticed. The kitchen had ample pots, pans, and dishes. No spices to cook with other than salt and pepper. No storage containers for left overs. The towels were very poor quality and very rough with the slightest sunburn. We all were bothered by the feel of the towels. There were no beach items other than beach chairs. Tried to rent boogie board and there were none in walking distance.
