Casa Arbolitos is a cozy, practical Oceanside home with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The fully updated kitchen includes stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, Keurig, and blender—everything you need to cook at home.

Indoor dining and a concrete patio with reclining chairs, small tables, and a Weber charcoal grill (charcoal & lighter fluid provided) make meals easy, inside or out. Relax in the living room with smart TV and satellite/cable, stay comfortable year-round with air conditioning/heating, and take care of laundry with the in-unit washer and dryer.

This house was squeaky clean and well stocked with everything we could need. Plant of room for 8 people to spread out. We loved that there was plenty of seating in the living room for us all to hang out. The neighborhood felt safe and friendly. We were near the beach, fun little shops and great places to eat. Our check in and Che k out instructions were clear and our host messaged to check in on us a few times to see if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again!

Upon arrival ants found on the kitchen counters. Owner had way too many instructions how to stay in the residence which made it very uncomfortable for our family to stay in the house for fear of extra charges. Owner had instructions for his instructions, not kidding. There were 5 notices before entering the house that enforced that you must close the front gate. Every light switch, outlet, fan, appliance, detergent, bathrooms had instruction notes what not to touch and what not to do in the home. Owner locked the NEST digital thermostat so that the temperature in the home maintained 80 degrees F in JULY! The first night of the first stay the thermostat allowed a temp range to approximately 65-degree F for our family to set the air-conditioning because house was very hot. Thermostat was programmed to time out after 1-2 hours of use then temperature of the house would rapidly increase back to 80 degrees F. The very next morning, first full day at the home. NEST thermostat was remotely locked by the owner and the temperature setting could not be set lower than 73 degrees when it was over 80 degrees outside the home. When set to 73 degrees to try to cool off the home for sleeping the temperature rapidly increased again to 80 degrees just after it reached the temp set at 73. This was a constant cycle, and our guests could not stay in the house due to the heat inside. Other living arraignments were needed for our family during their stay. Beware, I would not rent again!

Short break after Vegas

We have just come back from a short 3 night break after 6 nights in Vegas, so were looking for a place to chill out. Peter's house was great for our family (mum-in-law at 84, me & my husband & 27 year old son). We owned a vacation rental for 15 years & always tried to ensure that extras were available (such as coffee, cling wrap, cooking oil, cleaning materials etc) & all of this was supplied & more which is so useful when just staying for a few days in particular. Lots of notes from Peter for what was in drawers etc so didn't need to go rooting through all of the cupboards. Beds very comfortable. About 1 mile from plaza with good couple of supermarkets, Walgreens etc. Peter very quick at responding / communicating with us which we did through the VRBO app.(Only problem for us was completely out of Peter's control was the builders at the rear of the garden starting at 7am so not as chilled out as we would have liked, but once the new houses have been completed, that won't affect anything). Also, for UK guests like us we can't access mainstream TV (eg TNT, NBC) as we don't have US TV providers to log in with which meant I missed NBA playoff games (but that was only me...didn't affect anyone else in the family as I'm the NBA sports fan!) & won't be an issue for any US guests who can log into their TV provider accounts so not an issue I imagine for most guests.Did the 2 hour harbour cruise in San Diego, really interesting & informative & recommend a visit to Orfila Vineyards

Terrific Location and Very Clean

Perfect home base for exploring North County San Diego, including Oceanside and Carlsbad beaches. 10-mile paved bike path to coast runs from the neighborhood to Oceanside Marina and beach areas. Peter is a terrific host. Very helpful and super easy to communicate with. House was spotless. Highly recommend.

Family adventures

A group of family stayed for a nearby wedding in Oceanside. House is as listed and in a nice neighborhood. We walked every morning and were greeted numerous times by neighbors and other walkers. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again if in that area!

Spacious and comfortable for 5 adults

We were a family with 5 adults in town for a wedding and the spacious 4 bedroom house was just right for us. The beds were super comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet (even though there is construction happening behind the house on weekdays). It was always about a 13 min drive to the beach. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the coffee provided. Thank you for having us.

Was nice between the application and emails I prefer Tex communication and few cameras Around the house . The host call two times we leave the little gate open and he call to close he said he paid $8500 For that,for mistake the router was disconnecting and he was wondering about that The last day the light was on and the garage and call again he ask me to wash and dry the towels but we leave by 9:30 am on Monday 9,and I decided to turn off ff the drawer I have but experience in my daughter house the drayer Got on fire and after that never leave this machine on and we send him the video how we live his house ihar day by 1:30 pm he leave a voice mail,because the towels are not dray and Explain about his cameras and said he have spencil tools and his garage

Great value stay!

This vacation rental was immaculately clean! The check-in process was seamless as our host Peter sent me detailed instructions. Casa Arbolitos is a spacious home full of nice amenities. So much is new including all the kitchen appliances, flooring and carpet. There were so many unexpected things included in the kitchen cabinets such as coffee, tea, spices,and oils. Dishes, utensils and cookware were plentiful. The beds, linens and bath showers were great! Also, the A/C works great! It was obvious that Peter is making his way through the house and updating Room to room. This large 4 bedroom home is a great value and we hope to return!

OC Family Vacation Home

This is a huge home that easily facilitated our family. Close to the Mission and a short 7 min drive to beach. Near grocery stores too. The host, Peter, is an exceptional host!
