Renting an ebike or taxi is a couple dollars more expensive than elsewhere, but we were happy to pay for the convenience of not walking far out. The pool overlooking the river is awe inspiring, a surely winning feature few hotels in Bagan can boast. Staff is polite and helpful, if a bit aloof. If you’re staying in the higher end bungalows, you’ll be in swank atmosphere. If you’re staying in their apartment building, which may be the choice for the less wealthy guests, you’ll feel very disconnected and set apart. Mind you, they provide a buggy service, but I couldn’t help feeling somewhat cast off to the edge of their compound. Maybe that explains the aloofness. All the same, a positive experience. Mind blowing! The resort is breath taking, is super beautiful sorrounded by nature, is next to the river and the pool is amazing. The room was super spacious and with great amenities and included free coffee , tea and bottles of water. Is free WiFi around the entire resort. They also serve a delicious breakfast every morning at their restaurant that has pool n river view. The also offer electrical motorcycles at a low cost of $6.90 USD for the entire day. They are extremely convenient to visit the temples and go all over the place. The resort is located at Old Bagan so is sorrounded by temples, so the motorcycle is perfect.
