ENJOY culture immersion—not a ritzy tourist destination! Dusty, rustic, scant public transport, amenities, etc. Adapt to whats there, careful what to eat & where, (refuse raw washed veges—peeled fruit ok, purified water only. Support local economy.

Bagan is beautiful and the balloon trip was magical. I wish I stayed at a different hotel though.
