Lovely staff and management. The property is clean, air conditioned and big. The area is perfect for quiet stays and the beach is literally at a stone’s throw away. Different restaurants and beach clubs around. Highly recommended, thank you for everything!

Room/apt was clean and big (even had a kitchen!). Had a ceiling fan and a/c. Not right on the main strip, so quieter, but only a short walk to everything. Quiet beach right across the street. Rabia (owner) was super helpful and accommodating. Breakfast served on porch or in room at whatever time you’d like. Recommended!

Nice place to stay.

I stayed in a bungalow, which was very spacious and comfortable. I had a kitchen area, with most amenities. The bed was very comfortable, and was nice to have a mosquito net. Also had a bench and a table in the lounge area, which was useful. The owner of the property was really nice and friendly and very helpful. She even arrange a bicycle for me to use during my stay, which was a great way of getting around. The breakfast was a bit light, and could have had more choices. Also, the wi-fi was not very good, as it kept going off and the speed was very slow for me, however, the owner apologised and said she will be fixing the problem. The property is in a nice quiet area, and you can use a private beach 2 min walk away, which was great. All and all, a very pleasant experience.

Stayed at Majani Breeze with my sister. Our flight was from Nyrobi and we arrived at 11:30, which was far too early for checking in. However Radia really took into consideration and let us check in that early. Therefore we had a lot of time to explore the area. We met Shukran, who is also the sweetest member of staff ever. She is very polite and accommodating. She made my sister breakfast each morning according to what she wanted to eat and at what time she would have liked to have the breakfast at. Radia and Shukran were very helpful in assisting us how to go around the area. Majani breeze is definitely underrated because the rooms are so specious. The area is so clean and the beach is only a few minutes away. We were given an iron to keep and also a Moskito net, given that it’s Africa, so of course there will be moskitos despite the location you’re staying at. We did have an air fan in the room but I particularly found it quite difficult to sleep due to the heat. No need for bed covers at all. Radia is a very accommodating boss. Very friendly and is out to look after you as a guest. The only down side is that we had a few power cuts, but that was quickly resolved. I would 1000% recommend the place as I was so pleased and glad we didn’t stay in a resort.

A lovely little hotel a short walk to the main beaches in Nungwi, breakfast was brilliant everyday and it was very clean. Bed could have been slightly comfier but that’s just personal preference it was still a good sleep.

Downgraded and unsafe!

Not at all as expected. Booked 2 bedroom 2 bathrooms, but was downgraded to one bath one bed, and expected to be fine with it. At first we were only offered a single dinner to compensate. A dinner that would need to be eaten in the garden as they have no restaurant. Asked for a refund, and agreed, but the manager of the place was very aggressive after this. It became so uncomfortable that we had to leave a day early as we didn’t feel safe enough to stay. Would not recommend to stay here.

The stay was fine. For what the cost is, it is a nice deal. The gardens on the grounds are lovely and attract all kinds of birds in the morning. The veranda is a great place to have a good continental style breakfast. A very large room, small fridge, rope "dresser rack', mine had aircon with a nice ceiling fan, desk. The bathroom was fine and large. The bedding was minimal, a sheet to cover myself, but it was fine. I didn't ask for more, so I am sure the very accommodating staff will assist. Bed comfortable, but it is not just quiet, you are out on a road where it is very bad and hard on cars. So if you rent a car, be aware. There are a lot of taxis all over the road because of big resorts being around. You can take a ride up on transit buses and then a taxi. So you have those and I would highly recommend doing that if you are just doing everything from around Nungwi.
