« Very quirky & interesting property. Pleasant, quiet place to stay close to the town. Driveway could be a challenge, however you can park on the road in front. Property could do with some maintenance. The amount of stairs could be an issue for less mobile guests. This was a fun stay. »

« Beautiful, peaceful and worth every cent. We had a wonderful stay at Hanmer Glamping and would happily book again. The dome was beautifully decorated, with lovely touches throughout that made it feel really special rather than just a place to sleep. It was also much more spacious than we expected, so we had plenty of room to spread out and unwind. The highlight was waking up to the mountain views each morning. « Great value for money and a good stay for a small family. The kitchen was well equipped, the laundry was a real bonus, and the heater kept the place nice and warm. Just remember to bring your own bed sheets. The only minor downside was that the toilet is outside the house, but for the price, we really couldn't complain. We'd happily stay again. »

« It was a nice warm pad and fine for a family of two adults and two teens. At that price you’d expect cleaning and sheets to be included, we were a little surprised to have to vacuum, scrub the bathroom, and bring our own linen/towels. But good location and owners were super helpful. »

« Great location in Ohakune close to Turoa.Quite small and fairly close to other chalets, but totally fine for our family of four.Looks a bit tired in areas but was comfortable enough.Kitchen could have done with a few supplies like gladwrap and baking paper.Worth noting that the railing on the upstairs mezzanine area is very low. I'd be nervous staying here with very young children.Overall a decent place to stay. »

« Property had several issues. Seems like it was a garage converted to an holiday rental. Several small holes in walls and large holes in doors (doors had been patched but very rough!). Carpet squares on the floor sitting on top of very old stained carpet but squares loose and not fitting together.No hotplate for cooking. 4x flat bowls 4x small bowls 4x knives, forks and spoons, but no teaspoons. 2 x serrated steak knives but no other cooking utensils or dishes.No tea towels or dish washing...
