"Used this hotel as my son and I were going to Download and its convenient location was ideal. Contact from the hotel was really good prior to the visit to confirm the names of guests and whether car parking was needed, taking the registration number of the vehicle. Reception staff were helpful as we got there a few hours before check in but they let us in as the room was ready. They confirmed that the booking was for room only and explained that we could book breakfast each day if we wanted to. Room was clean with good storage. The only problem was the lack of water pressure for the shower but that didn't spoil our stay."

"Lovely place to stay. Very clean spacious room with parking available opposite so not far to move your stuff from car to room. The pub does a lovely full English cooked fresh to order. I did have an evening meal which was a bit pricey (Steak & chips) but again couldn't fault it, was lush. Staff were friendly, would easily stay here again."

"Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking with a discounted rate. Evening menu was OK and the food and drink prices were fair. Room rate was good and included breakfast and the breakfast was tasty. Would use again in the future."
