Lovely room. Ours was at the top, it was a hot night and heat rises! We did have the windows open but it’s quite a busy road so lots of road noise. The blind also let in a lot of light too and if light sensitive there was a bright green light shinning in the ceiling. Bed very comfortable as were the pillows. Restaurant packed and the food was good. I had the roast and my husband had the mutton curry - huge potions. We received a prompt and friendly check-in on arrival and were shown to our first-floor room which was a good size, as was the bathroom. Both were spotless and were kept that way for the duration of our 4 night stay. Overlooking the road caused us no concerns. Great choice of good quality food for breakfast and we had our evening meal there on 3 of the 4 nights. Lovely friendly team and amazing restaurant with high end menu choices and very well cheffed food. It was Tuesday evening and they looked fully booked for food which said a lot to me. Great selection of beers too. Parking on site was free and had a lovely breakfast in the morning nd great chat with the owner in relation to its aerospace connections. Basic rooms The rooms are basic, and as a repeat customer I know this. No shower in this particular room, but a large bath. Biggest issue - room was freezing with no way to tweak heating. We had the attic room which had a low slanted ceiling which I wouldn’t want to stay in again. We choose this venue as a base to explore Norfolk for a weekend, the location makes it an easy drive to the beach. We couldn't fault the food it was amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful :) The best thing about our room was the under floor heating in the bathroom, the rest of the room was just adequate, could do with a little bit of an up grade.
