Day-of check in instructions seem to be the norm for VRBO- but I was not smart enough to plan for no cell coverage on arrival, and wished I had received the instructions at least a day in advance so I could read and digest them before starting my long drive. That aside, my husband and I wished we'd booked 2 days instead of one so we could have soaked in the relaxing atmosphere for longer.
