I got notification the day I arrived that their restaurant was not open, and not scheduled to be open for months. We walked on the beach and swam in the clear blue water every day. We almost never saw any other tourists on the beach. The pool was great as well. The drawbacks were that the restaurant was closed for all of our 9-day stay, and it was a 10-minute+ drive to any other restaurant or grocery. The roads are rough, and this was tiring. Plus the hotel manager doesn’t provide any essentials (bottled water, bug spray, sunscreen, food, etc), even for an additional charge. Getting enough water and food was a challenge throughout our stay.
