"This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. Starting from the minute I got there. I didn’t receive any email or notification about how to enter the property. I arrived at 2pm bcz that’s the check-in time. Nobody was available on site and I waited outside trying to contact the host Samia for about 30 minutes until she replied with instructions of where the key was located. This should have been sent prior to my arrival. The first day, we didn’t have electricity and WiFi for a few hrs. I had a very important work meeting and it was very inconvenient and stressful. I also didn’t have any hot water throughout our stay. Taking cold showers was unpleasant. The place was not clean as it looks in the pictures (which is actually the penthouse not our actual room). It feels like an abandoned property that has not been maintained well. The only nice thing about this place is the oceanfront view. On our 2nd day, we woke up from an afternoon nap and was pretty much eaten alive with bed bug bites all over our bodies. I counted 50 bites, my sister had about 20. We woke up in complete panic and packed our stuff immediately. We could not find another place to stay last minute so we ended up sleeping in our rental car. I was disgusted and have never encountered an experience like this. I contacted the host to let her know we had left the property early and her response was that she was sorry this happened to us and was not offered any compensation or refund. Horrible host and property. "

"Great stay, staff and food. Small in type report. We stayed in the cottage with kitchenette which is more private and separate from the rest of the resort - would be nice if the path was more defined/stones. There’s only 7 or so rooms here. Food was fantastic and we’ve heard one of the best on the island. Beach is absolutely lovely and swim-able. Only complaint is that there aren’t reliable places to rent cars here (we tried to book and were told everything from $70-200/day, and sent to websites that had red screen security issues and chose not to enter our credit card). "

"The house is just as pictured. You have the ocean at your front door. Everything you needed was supplied, even flash lights and a small battery operated lantern. Which we needed as power went out several times for short periods. Steve was attentive and available if we needed him."

"We had a wonderful stay at Silver Palms in Central Eleuthera. The house is within easy walking distance to Poponi Beach (only saw four other people). It's close to La Bougainvillea Resort, and a short drive to Tippy's, Bacchus, and other local restaurants. Easy to visit the Leon Levy Preserve and gorgeous beaches in Central Eleuthera (Ten Bay and Receiver's Beach are favorites). The beds and furniture were very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils we needed to cook meals at home. Communication with Louis and the staff was excellent from start to finish, and having a generator during power outages was a huge plus. We felt comfortable, well taken care of, and truly relaxed. Highly recommend this home and would absolutely stay again!"
