We are deeply sorry you left feeling this way. This inn is indeed well worn, since it is 128 years old. Your room neighbor was removed from the premises on thursday because of the noise complaint you made wednesday night at 00:48AM. I strongly believe we did all we could to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The rest of the weekend was fully booked and there may have been a lot of coming and going, for that we apologize, but there was nothing more we could do for you. Nonetheless, we still wish you a wonderful fall season, and thank you for your mark and comment.

Votre réservation Expedia mentionne deux grands lits, je ne comprend pas votre commentaire à ce sujet. De plus, votre chambre possèdait un sofa-lit supplémentaire. Donc, trois lits. Nous en sommes désolé, il nous est impossible de changer l'indication sur Expedia, car les chambres sont organisées par catégorie. Cependant, la vue est accessible à seulement dix pas de votre porte. Votre voisin de chambre fût expulsé car il fûmait dans sa chambre. L'automne battant son plein, les araignées cherchent refuge, nous enlevons leurs toiles de notre mieux, mais celles-ci reviennent en quelques heures. La bâtisse, ayant 128 ans, nous engage dans un long combat contre les souris. Merci de nous avoir informé à ce sujet afin que nous puissions évaluer la situation. Le thermostat fût vérifié, et fonctionne. Nous sommes désolé s'il manquait des serviettes, cependant il aurait été possible de le signaler à la réception, afin de nous en informer pour que nous puissions vous en fournir s'il y a eu un oubli de la part de notre équipe. Il faut tirer la chaîne longtemps et doucement, sinon le clapet ne se ferme pas correctement. Vous aviez deux chiens, qui n'étaient pas mentionné dans votre réservation Expedia, nous les avons tout simplement chargé comme ils auraient dû l'être. La chambre était dans un piètre état à votre départ, ce qui a nécessité énormément de travail de la part de l'équipe de nettoyage. Il y avait des poils jusqu'au plafond dans la salle de bain. Les chiens ont donc été chargé les double, vu la quantité colossale de travail afin d'éliminer leurs poils des lits, des meubles, des rideaux, des tapis, ainsi que de la salle de bain. Sur ce, nous vous souhaitons tout de même un belle saison automnale.

Hi, at the inn, we believe in group autonomy, so you can decide who goes where, as long as the number of people isn't over what had been agreed upon. The two people should've told the owner about their room category, especially if it was already paid for. I understood, you were also given the two full appartments, which is quite the upgrade. And that you left without paying. Nonetheless, we hope you have a great fall season.

Hi Ms Schaden, I remember the event (I was the little human translating!). You had booked a Superior room on Expedia on August 15th. What he meant by the Expedia-one-night-booking, is that Expedia customers do not have the opportunity to choose which room they will get, by category. As I explained, all rooms are indicated as with lake view (because we cannot indicate which room does, and which doesn't by room category). I checked, and the inn was indeed full that day. This was poorly explained to you, and far from a comprehensive attitude. You could not have switched rooms. However, his behavior was unworthy of his usual demeanor and understanding character. I am deeply sorry for how this matter went, and for how helpless you must have felt.

Hi Ms Poor, our team did a check-up right after this was reported to us. No filth was found anywhere. At all. Although, the one chipmunk, did leave as soon as he could, since he was so afraid of humans to come out of the chimney. Quite a clean rodent I have to admit. Spiders will leave cobwebs anywhere they can, and do come back within 12 hours of us removing them. Your quirky attitude was the reason the owner did not apologise. You already had a cost reduction and the inn was completely full, so we couldn't move you. Have a great day.

C'est un peu comme la doyenne de Nominingue.Nous sommes conscients des circonstances exceptionnelles que les conditions climatiques extrêmes nous font vivre cette année au Québec, et même dans tout le Canada. Il est fort probable que, malgré notre système de climatisation centrale, nos déshumidificateurs, ainsi que nos luminaires avec ventilateurs, vous ayez quand même vécu un inconfort face à l'humidité ressentie. Malheureusement, cet été nous subissons des phénomènes météorologiques uniques, causés par le réchauffement climatique, qui sont totalement hors de notre contrôle.Avec ses 130 années, l'auberge est constamment en réparation, construction, rénovation et amélioration. Nous travaillons activement sur plusieurs sections du domaine, ainsi que du bâtiment principal, et ce chaque été, profitant du temps plus clément afin de faire progresser les chantiers en cours.En conclusion, nous vous suggérons d'émettre une critique constructive, afin de mieux comprendre ce qu'il nous serait possible d'améliorer selon vous.En dépit des conditions météorologiques atypiques et instables, nous vous souhaitons, au nom de toute l'équipe, un merveilleux été.Merci.

We are terribly sorry to hear you did not like your stay. Although, we would like to advise you that the Laurentians, during summertime, will be full of mosquitoes, especially an inn on the shore of a lake. Outside bugs to not mean the rooms are dirty, we are proud of our team and their work to ensure every room is clean.
