Hotel Sanglier
Durbuy
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (131 reviews)
"The resort is beautiful and the staff makes you feel welcome and the area is very picturesque. We had food in one of their Italian restaurants.... Limon which was terrible. Breakfast restaurant was amazing every morning since we were there for the Belgian GP. The walls inside are painted black in the hallways and room entrance which gives you a nightclub vibe..... Not sure if that's appropriate for a resort. I would give this place 4.5 stars."

Greenfields Glamping Durbuy
Durbuy
6.8 out of 10, (3 reviews)
"The facilities are large, but the cleanliness is truly awful. The heated pool is filthy, and the bathrooms and showers are so disgusting and full of mold and filth that you'd rather not shower to avoid catching a fungal infection. They cut off the electricity and water for four hours one day to trim the trees without warning. They closed the pool because of the power outage, but the restaurant had electricity and water. We had to go to a café in town to use the bathroom. I don't recommend this...

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Noiseux?
The best area to stay in Noiseux is the village centre itself, offering a convenient and pleasant base for exploring the region.

Noiseux is a small, tranquil village located in the Walloon Region of Belgium, known for its scenic countryside and proximity to the Ardennes. The village centre is compact and easy to navigate, with a few local eateries and direct access to walking and cycling paths along the Ourthe River. It's a fantastic spot for those looking to enjoy nature and a slower pace of life.

For couples seeking a peaceful escape, staying in the village centre provides easy access to the natural beauty of the area. You can spend your days exploring the nearby forests, enjoying riverside strolls, or visiting charming local villages like Durbuy, often called "the smallest city in the world," which is just a short drive away. The quiet setting is great for romantic getaways.

Solo travellers looking for outdoor activities will also find the village centre an excellent choice. With numerous hiking and cycling trails starting right from Noiseux, it's an ideal base for active holidays.
When is the best time to go to Noiseux?
The best time to visit Noiseux is during the late spring and summer months, from May to September, when the weather is generally warm and pleasant.

During these months, you'll find the most comfortable conditions for outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and exploring the natural beauty of the Ardennes region. The days are longer, allowing for more time to discover the local attractions and enjoy the riverside scenery along the Ourthe. This period is also when many local events and festivals take place, offering a chance to experience the regional culture.

For those who enjoy a milder climate and fewer crowds, May and early June offer a lovely balance. The countryside is lush, and the temperatures are agreeable without being too hot. It's a great time for couples looking for a peaceful escape with opportunities for gentle walks and enjoying the local cuisine in a relaxed setting.

Families often find July and August ideal. The warmer weather is great for enjoying the river activities, and many local attractions are in full swing.
