This hotel is in an industrial zone with no charm; but that is not the problem. The clientele is trashy--purple hair, tattoos, etc.--and the halls smell. The staff is indifferent. In short, this is a hotel for lower middle class and below. The saving grace is that the room was quite clean.

Room 209 was not in a great condition (damage on floors, doors, walls, rusty fridge etc...) like a 2-3*. AC stopped working and we were moved to the 4th floor which was in a far better condition. The pool was closed for a full day, which wasn't great and no food or drink was available. The neighbouring hotel had more amenities and was only a 3*. Overall it felt like an ok 2* hotel, 3* at a push, but definitely not a 4* compared to other 4* hotels I've experienced. Location is out the way, but a Number 7 bus takes you into the town centre. If I was in the area again I'd book the 3* Nimbus Hotel instead (owned by the same group and a lot cheaper).

The hotel room was certainly UNIQUE. I have never seen a design like that. it was very FRENCH. Not a complaint, it was very cute and the decor made me smile. Beautiful spacious bathroom as well. Very nice stay. Friendly staff. Would stay again
