The apartment is comfortable, super clean, completely and tastefully upgraded, nice surprise as way more spacious than the photos appear. A large well lit and spa- like bathroom with giant walk-in shower with rain shower head. The attractive location absolutely cannot be beat! Right in the center of old town Villefranche, steps from the waterfront and a super quick walk to train or bus. The only caution is that it sits above a small courtyard where a popular restaurant and wine bar have their tables set up. I was nervous about the noise for sleeping. However, the windows are indeed thick, the chatter from the restaurant was only lightly audible. I am a light sleeper and I slept very well every night. Both restaurant and wine bar close at midnight (summer) and complete silence the entire night after midnight. My daughter and I had an excellent, fabulous experience staying at Le May. I would recommend it to close friends or family and certainly plan to return!
