"There were two reasons I didn’t rate this hotel 5 stars. First, we did not sleep well. The bed was listed as a queen bed, but we were very squished together. We have a queen at home and this bed felt more like full. Then, in order to use the internet, guests were required to sign up for Wyndham Rewards. We chose to use cell data. I *really* liked the layout of the room. It allowed my night owl husband to be up and around while letting me sleep. We had a queen suite."

"It was very adequate at a good price the only problem we had was some of the other guests were bunch of young guys going in and out of each other's rooms at night slamming doors and talking at the top of the lungs in the halls it was a challenge for us to go to sleep several of the nights . We rang the front desk a few times but there' was no answer then we left a message with the general manager we don't know if anything was done about it or not we don't even know if anything could be done about it"

"So it's a motel, it's not a hotel they don't really have staff staff, right?It's you go and you do your thing if you want your room cleaned.I think you can leave the door unlocked.I'm not quite sure I didn't do that.I don't find it necessary to have somebody make my bed. Air conditioning worked fabulous. The TV was great. Our room overall was great shops nearby. There are lots and really good recommendations for restaurants. I don't think you can go wrong with staying here. The only thing I didn't love was it didn't have fitted sheets on the bed they used just plain sheets. For the mattress, but that is very European. So, I'm not quite sure if that was a mistake or if it was just how they run it. But everything was clean and everything was really nice and easy. Check-in easy checkout."

"Beautiful view. A couple hiccups but what a gorgeous view and overall nice place. Would definitely recommend it. Was a smell in the kitchen, moldy or mildew like and the master bed was horribly soft (keep reading because there's a reason, and it got to be almost perfect!). Host was attentive and quickly responded!! Got maintenance to fix the bed and the issue was that the supports underneath had fallen and just had to be reset. After that, the bed was very comfortable! They offered to bring the cleaning crew out for the smell, but couldn't get anybody out until next day and it was too chaotic because our kids and grandkids just got there so had to cancel. So we decided to deal with it because it wasn't a deal-breaker...but it did get worse as the week went on. Only other couple of things, but not huge problems. There was no BBQ (as shown)-tenants before us broke it. It just would have been nice to have known because we bought a huge piece of meat to barbecue. Chairs in the living room were different than in the ad, akin to a church hall chair, no floaties, and getting to the dock was adventurous. A little rough for us, late 50's & overweight. But we saw younger girls in the property next door doing it with ease. :-) The dock was very sturdy & looked fairly new. THE BEST PART...my happy place for the week..was sitting by the firepit in the afternoon until sundown, listening to music, cocktail in hand, and just enjoying the beauty!! nice property, great host! TY :-)"
