The average daytime temperatures range from a pleasant 10°C to 25°C, making it ideal for outdoor activities like trekking and wildlife spotting. The Neora Valley National Park, a key attraction, is more accessible and its trails are easier to navigate during these drier months. For those interested in birdwatching, late autumn and early winter (October to December) are particularly rewarding as migratory birds arrive in the area. The reduced humidity and cooler air also mean better visibility, which is great for enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding Eastern Himalayas.Conversely, the monsoon season from June to September brings heavy rainfall, making roads and trails challenging to traverse, and often causing landslides. While the landscape is lush, it can significantly hinder travel plans.
