There were enough beds for our family of 7\. But the upper level is a loft, just one big room. Great for a group of kids but not so great for couples. The kitchen and bedrooms downstairs have been redone but the rest of the house needs a little updating. Someone lives in the lower part of the house which we didn’t know until we got there. We were drawn to its big open spaces and location away from the city as a perfect place for a getaway. We are so glad we booked here! The lodge was well-stocked with everything we needed and comfortable. The kitchen is large and functional which was important as we took most of our own meals. The living room and toys were a big hit with the kids. The outdoor exploring options are endless and right out the door. For us these included snowmachining, sledding, snowshoeing, and CX skiing. It took an hour for us to drive to Fairbanks for a day trip. The hosts answered all our questions and had great recommendations for things to do. Highly recommend this lodge if you are looking for a relaxing place away from the city as a retreat. ##### Bryan D. The rental is stocked with everything you need and then some. My kids loved the toys, books and snacks that were provided. The owner is lovely and easy to communicate with.
