"The room was comfortable for 5 adults. There are lots of food options close to the motel. This is a perfect location if you are going to the water park. The large screened porch is great for drying towels and swimsuits after going to the water park or using the indoor pool. The motel is dated and in desperate need of upgrades but comfortable enough. "This house was perfect for our reunion group! It is much bigger than it looks from the front, and has a great layout for multiple families vacationing together. The top floor has 2 cape bedrooms and a full bath, the main level has another full bath and a huge open plan living, kitchen and dining area, and the living and large bedroom both have access to an upper deck. The lower level has two more bedrooms, a family/game room, laundry and a walkout to the covered patio and backyard with fire pit. Be aware you need to bring all your own sheets and towels, and transport all garbage to the local drop station about 10 min away. Otherwise, the house was fully stocked and we easily cooked tons of meals, including use of the outdoor grill. The owner was super responsive to all questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The area even had a long power outage one morning, but the onsite generator kept us going as if nothing had gone wrong! The location is FANTASTIC - a very short drive into town, Water Safari, or the community private beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house and look forward to staying again next time we come up to Old Forge. "
