We absolutely loved Chara's Railtown Suite. Spacious, comfortable, well appointed, and just a really homey feel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Walking distance to bakeries, restaurants and shopping. The main bedroom was very spacious with a sitting area (couch and chair) and the bed was very comfortable. Second bedroom is off the living area, also with a very comfortable bed and decorated so nice. Spacious bathroom with everything we needed...lotion, shampoo, hair dryer, etc. Very clean. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook a meal at home, which we did not do because we wanted to try some of the local dining establishments. The fridge stocked with condiments and coffee creamer. And the cupboards were stocked with just about anything you might need. We loved our stay here. We were especially grateful for the warm homemade sourdough that was waiting on the counter for us when we arrived. How did she know that we are crazy for sourdough? Such a nice touch. The only down side is that you can hear the upstairs neighbors. They weren't noisy, just normal footfall and drifting conversations make their way down. But if you don't have a person in group particularly tuned into those things, it shouldn't affect your stay. You have to expect some upstairs noise when you're situated on a lower floor. Overall a great place: great communication with the owner, very clean, fun to watch the trains, everything we needed and more for a carefree mini-vacation. Thank you! ##### Sarah R. Cozy, comfortable and charming decor, with all necessities supplied. Before arriving, we were a bit worried about being so close to the train tracks, but it wasn’t an issue at all.
