Remodeling and construction going on. Strong odor of roach insecticide in the room. Beds were comfortable. Friendly personnel. Location is excellent. Great price. Breakfast buffet was excellent

This property is ideally situated on the main street facing a wide sandy beach. The building is clean and its location provides easy access to major attractions. Our room was small and reminded me not to take a full sized suitcase on my travels as the space was that small around the room. No place for more than a 2 day stay if looking for in room relaxation. The toilet water kept flushing unless some effort was made to continually pump the flush levers to close the valves..

Better than a one star hotel for sure! Room was fine and location was great for the price. There is construction happening next to the hotel, so if you’re looking to sleep in, not the place for you. I would happily stay here again.

Hotel hard to find, very small room, Tv remote did not work, parking is almost nonexistant, had to drive around property 5 times and get creative in an alley. Room smelled of sewage, very loud. Reception was not helpful with the parking or anything else.

Close to everything, nice stay
Check in was easy, very polite staff. Room was a lot smaller than the pictures but we were only there to sleep. Free breakfast was included and it was great. We ate at the restaurant one evening and it was very expensive and the food wasn’t that great. I had steamer clams, they were tiny, husband had some sort of sardine stew and it was mushy, he didn’t finish it and ended up buying a cheeseburger down the road. A lot of noise at night 2am, woke us up several times but the location to the beach and the stores are unbeatable. I would stay here again but wouldn’t eat here again

Check in woman was ok - not super friendly. Seemed to arguing with a coworker. Told us we could not park out front and to find space in back. We received a ticket and the cars parked out front fine. Lunch was not good. Also found that they were reusing the complimentary food. Witnessed them transferring unused calamari to another table. We skipped breakfast.

I got the one with ocean, it is above a restaurant and can be a quite noisy. Hard to sleep.The room is run dow a bit, could get a bit of maintenance (curtains, etc) Maybe the rooms in the back(away from the restaurant) are better.

They double charged me even though I told them the hotel had been paid for. I had to go thru 3 different desk clerks to get reimbursed. Even then they did not want to. The room was dated and linens dry old. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and old. The hotel was part of a restaurant and the whole place smelled like food. Even in the rooms. Door’s kept being slammed during the night. It was a very unpleasant experience.

Fabulous Location
Could look out at the beach from our room….wonderful. Parking is street so a tiny bit of difficulty but such a perfect location to see the town and walk out to see BIG surf.

Property is right across the street from the beach. The room was extremely clean but very small - it was like being on a cruise ship. Bed was a double and comfortable and the bathroom was very clean with a shower. Room is clean but compact. Has on site restaurant; did't eat there as most of the restaruants have the exact same menu and breakfast was included with a veriety of options. No parking but you can park on some the back streets for free, you just have to check to make sure it is not in a pay parking zone.

Cute beach town and walk able to the lighthouses and other beaches! Not very expensive and a bus ride to Lisbon or Porto.
