The campground was close to the race track, easy to get there.

Cottage was cramped for 2 adults and 3 kids and it was advertised to sleep 6 comfortably. There was no storage for clothes or food. There was green mold on the walls and ceiling. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. The campground itself was very nice.

We stayed in one of the cabins. It was very clean. The mattress was horrible. Our backs were hurting after one night. The camp store wasn’t open the one time we needed it, even though the time was within the hours posted as being open. There was no microwave, which was advertised. But hey, this is camping, so no big deal. A lot of smokers were around - especially in the morning. Pool was large and very clean. Overall, good place to stay.

Memorial Day Weekend :)
Over all, we were pleasantly surprised. The cabin/cottage was a better alternative than a cramped hotel room for the little ones. The cabin was spacious, clean and well equipped. We decided on the Sun Valley Campground due to the proximity to Sesame place and Hershey park. Although, we didn't spend much time on the site, there is a pool and family activities. Sun Valley is also close to Lancaster so we will definitely consider staying at Sun Valley for our Lancaster family trip.

Cottage Rental Here Is Not "Glamping"
Stayed in a "deluxe cottage" Staff was not particularly pleasant or friendly, seemed annoyed to complete the check in process. This facility insists on making a photocopy of your driver's license and credit card, which made me uncomfortable. You must wear a cheap plastic wristband at all times during your stay. The beds were unbearable in the cottage, we ended up going out and purchasing an air bed to put on top of the bed just so we could sleep. The mattress smelled as well. When I pulled our sheet off there were spiders and ants on the mattress. Spiderwebs all over light fixtures. Toilet was clean. Shower semi-clean. Kitchenette sink was clean Will not return.

Very close to Maple Grove Speedway
The cabin was more than I expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Already had directions printed out to amazing restaurants and sight seeing venues. Defiantly will recommended and stay again

Nice base to explore the area
This is a nice campground. We were a family of four and stayed in a cabin, which had a cozy feel once we moved in. It was nice to sit on the porch and let our small children run around in the play area right in front of cabin. We also had a picnic table to eat at and a fire pit for campfires at night. The heated pool was quite nice. It’s a pretty good location to use as a base to explore the area. While it’s almost an hour to Hershey Park, just about everything else we did were less than a 30 minute drive. We were able to explore the heart of Amish country, make our own pretzels in Libitz, and make our own ice cream at Turkey Hill in Columbia. It was nice to come back to the campground at the end of the day and have room to run around or go swimming, as opposed to going back to a cramped motel room. One note, when I made the reservation Hotels.com listed the room as a “Cottage”, which is an significantly different from the one-room “Cabin” we ended up with. I believe a Cottage has a kitchen, bathroom and separate bedroom, while the Cabin is simply four walls, a roof, some beds and a refrigerator. To the campground’s credit, they called us the day after we booked to make sure we knew what we were getting. It didn’t bother us as the Cabin was enough, but I thought I’d point out that there is some confusion in how it’s listed on Hotels.com.
