Villa Durante was a lovely stay for my two sisters and I. The villa was large and very accommodating, we had plenty of space and two bathrooms was a nice bonus! The hosts were so kind and accommodating. The daily breakfast was an absolute delight! A bit of a walk from the train station, and we struggled with the Naples area public transportation but the Villa Durante made it a memorable stay for sure!

After growing tired of cold, cookie-cutter modern hotels, we were searching for a place with genuine old-world charm and character. We found exactly that at Villa Durante. The property is absolutely beautiful, full of elegance and history, and provided a truly memorable experience. The owner and staff were warm, gracious hosts who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are so glad we chose this wonderful hidden gem. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something special.

An amazing place, in an old building with lots of character. Teresa and Luca were really helpful, proving a great breakfast and recommending places to eat. I would definitely stay here again. Car parking is tight but ok if you have a medium or small car, and you probably wouldn’t get a large car through the entrance gate. As the listing says, there are steps (four small flights) from the courtyard to the Villa entrance door so please take that into consideration if you have mobility restrictions or difficulties.

Big rooms in a charming old Villa. Services are limited. The neighborhood is a bit loud at night, and my room got a bit too hot. There’s a small AC unit, but it might not be enough for the space. The breakfast was good a plenty for one person. They were nice, kind, and helpful.

Good location for restaurants and visiting Herculaneum in Ercolano. Short train journey to either Naples or Pompeii and small book able tour coach leaves the train station each morning to visit Vesuvius weather permitting. Very comfortable accommodation with breakfast and fully recommend for a unique Italian experience.

Villa Durante is a lovely old villa that’s well located for Herculaneum. The room we stayed in was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were able to check in early too. As well as the rooms, there’s a lovely lounge area and breakfast was served there for us. Would definitely stay there again

Our stay was the most memorable holiday. Thank you Teresa for the amazing hospitality. Anything we needed Teresa had the answer where to find it. Her smile every morning made our day. Breakfast was amazing, the room perfect! We will definitely be returning and have already made referrals. The property has lovely shops and a restaurant across the street that was incredible.
