Everything is good, friendly staff, convenient location and good selection of breakfast buffit, except that no cleaning during the time I stayed (two nights). I don't know if I need to order room cleaning. Shouldn't it be standard for room cleaning and no cleaning only when asked?

Mostly excellent. The staff were tremendously helpful. Parking is not the most convenient but nearby regardless; it is the garage for the train station right next door.

Everything was excellent. Great room, convenient location, and professional service. It has the feel of a hotel geared to business travelers. I would stay there again without a moment’s hesitation. The only thing missing was any warmth. The staff does not stand or sit out at the front desk, greeting guests as they enter or leave. They come out from the glass paneled office when they see someone requiring assistance. They are unfailingly professional and helpful, but very formal.

Our stay at Mercure was simply amazing. We felt very welcomed, the room was wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. The location right next to the train station was incredibly convenient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Nancy!

After reading all the positive reviews,I decided to book a one night stay for our French road trip.Unfortunately the hotel didn’t meet our expectations at all.The only positives were the convenient location and the spacious rooms. The hotel is located near to the train station so would be useful if you travel by train.I’ve seen there was mentioned parking offsite for 20 Euro a day.It turned out this is the train station parking which was ok as not too busy.But the price we paid was 28 euros instead. The building is quite old and very tall(which can’t be seen from photos unfortunately)and didn’t feel cosy at all.The rooms are spacious and there is a fridge inside.Otherwise they are dirty and obviously are not cleaned regularly.No toilet brushes in the toilets which is essential and mandatory. Breakfast was ok with some hot and cold food (just one type of hard cheese which for France is a shame),no fresh vegetables at all.American pancakes were very dry and not edible.The crepes were fine but obviously were towered while still warm so they were all stuck together and taking them apart was a nightmare.No chocolate spread (the first hotel that doesn’t have it) but plenty of jams and honeys.One type of baguette,one granary loaf and one with raisins so not really good selection.For 20.50 euro it’s definitely not worth the money.No discounts for kids too . It’s a very worn out hotel that needs a renovation and it’s not worth the price paid both for rooms and breakfast.

Flott hotel i gangavstand til alle severdigheter. Sørvisinnstilt og hjelpsomt personale. Romslig og reint rom. Nespresso kaffemaskin, vannkoker, og kjøleskap med forfriskninger på rommet. Der var en god stol og en puff. Kunne ha tenkt oss to stoler. Hotellet har ikke egen parkering, men vi benyttet parkeringshuset ved jernbanestasjonen.
