Pros:
-- Location was right on the money. Private enough yet not too far away from the necessities of life.
-- View was outstanding, as were the colorful sunsets... and the once-in-a-lifetime storm of lights show. Can't beat an 11th floor front row seat to Father Nature's theater Lol.
-- Cleanliness was well above average. I have to say it was the first vacation rental, hotel room etc. that I actually felt comfortable walking around barefoot in, without having to wash my feet again before bed! The floors were immaculately spotless!
Cons:
-- A solid first impression is an absolute must. In all transparency, we were not impressed with the front door. It could use a makeover to breathe some life back into it.
-- The Murphy bed. Great idea for a space saver, but the headboard, spring mechanism and area behind it could benefit from some attention. Headboard could use a good tightening down. We felt we needed to sleep with our feet at the head of the bed (and actually did just that) to mitigate any risk of knocking the head board off in our sleep. The spring mechanism worked really good, maybe too good as it wouldn't allow the bed to lower quite all the way and as a result our Daughter felt more comfortable sleeping in the other bed. As for the area behind the bed, not sure what was going on there but looked like it just needed some tlc.
-- Overall it was one of the nicer, cleaner, quieter places we have stayed at in Myrtle Beach and we made some unforgettable memories there. 😀
