"We reserved parking which was next to the hotel. Breakfast was fresh European style. The king sized bed was huge- they put 2 twins together. Nice hotel. The elevator is really small it fit 2 people with 2 large pieces of luggage and that’s it. Staff very helpful. Would stay there again."

"Renata could not have been a better host. She made dinner reservations for us on our first night, drove us to the boat docks to visit Cinque Terre on the second morning and picked up a pizza for us on the second night. What a nice person!Her home was clean and exactly what we saw online. It is in a family neighborhood, not a tourist area. There was a 15 minute walk to and from the train station and we walked it once and took a cab the other time. The cab was 18 euros. If we ever return to La Spezia we would not hesitate to stay at Renata's property again.John"

Felt secure because there were three locked doors to get through. 10-15 walk from the railway station, just off the main shopping street. Lots of eating options minutes from the front door. I had a fridge in my room but there was also a kitchen you could use if you wanted, and an outside patio. Would stay again!"
