(1,000 reviews) When we arrived we had some payment issues with the taxi. The kind man at the front desk personally walked me to an ATM and when that ATM didn’t work he walked me to another one. Then walked us back to hotel and rolling our bags with him. He was as very gracious and we appreciated his help very much. The room and the restaurant were both wonderful too. This place is just outside the old city walls and easy to walk to everything. I highly recommend this hotel. (255 reviews) Great location on the Split promenade next to Diocletian Palace site. Large room, comfortable chairs, nice view from sea view premium room. Only negatives 1) linens were pretty worn, one towel literally yellowed, another frayed, bed not very comfortable and scratchy. This seems to be a common problem for all hotels we visited in Bosnia and Croatia. 2) Older hotel with few options for hooking up electronics such as phone chargers.
