Muscatine : location guest houses et maisons d'hôte

« You get what you pay for. The hotel is old and smells like it. Linen and towels are old and worn as well. Breakfast has meat and eggs but that’s the only advantage it has over the hotel next door. I believe the price for this hotel should be lower for what it actually provides. Everything about this hotel screams save every penny at the expense of their guests. It’s an unfortunate trend that seems to be spreading across hotel chains. Only plus is the polite staff. I probably won’t stay here...

« Had a reservation. 1st room we were given had been cleaned , but had a stopped up toilet that shouldn't have been missed if the room was thoroughly cleaned. 2nd room then given- walked into a dirty room that had been signed off as cleaned by same housekeeper as room one. Plus had a broken window that clearly would be a safety hazard for a child. 3rd room was acceptable, but was right off the lobby and we heard much noise during the entire night. Very run down and old compared to others we had seen in our travels. Booked later at night and won’t do that again. Non smoking room but you could smell from years of smoke »

« Very friendly, efficient staff - Nathan was particularly fun. Room was clean, and breakfast had a wide variety of choices and quite delicious. Wish the second elevator was working, but we didn't have to wait too long for the one that was - just a bit crowded around check-out. We've stayed here twice, and we plan on doing it again.
