The nearest beach is also roughly 20 minutes away and you really need a car to enjoy the area and the resort! The nearest airport is Murcia International airport 10 minutes away! The Villa is really home from home living with Air/Con and Central heating throughout each property. Our Villa has free WiFi and the latest SKY TV System which includes the latest films and all the Sky Sports channels as well as many other entertainment programmes which also includes 14 day catchup, Children's channels and video club! If you're having a golfing break or a family holiday or both this villa has everything for a great stay! To cool you down there's your very own pool, but If the sun gets too hot for you there's a covered outdoor room with comfortable furniture, sun loungers and a BBQ. The front line villa is a 10 min walk or a 2 min drive from the clubhouse and resort supermarket. There is a big supermarket called Mercadona and Mc'donalds 10 minutes drive away! For your safety the resort is gated and has 24hr security. As you arrive at the villa you will find parking outside on the road or space for 2 cars on the driveway! As you walk up to enter the villa there is a small step and then as you enter the villa which is via double front doors there is yet again a small step into the villa which is perfect if you have issues with mobility! You enter you will find the control panel for the aircon to your right and heating to the left, you arrive straight into the Living room/Dining room, which has a dining table with 6 chairs and L shaped leather sofa with 2 chairs with the TV and DVD player. There are 3 sets of double French doors which look out to the pool area! There is a wooden vaulted ceiling which gives a light airy feel to the room! The villa has 3 bedrooms with the master bedroom with a king size bed also having 2 sets of double French doors onto the pool area and wooden vaulted ceiling and a Ensuite bathroom, there are a further 2 bedrooms with twin beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven/hob, American fridge/freezer and all that you can need for a happy holiday! The outside pool area is fully tiled the pool can be heated for your Autumn/Winter/Spring stay. There are 6 sun loungers, seated area and a covered area which is by the brick BBQ with a dining table with 6 chairs with views of the golf course! The Golf: Arguably the finest desert links course in all of Europe, this superb 18 hole par 71 Jack Nicklaus designed golf course is fast becoming 'the' must play course in southern Spain and attracts golfers from all over the world who continue to give rave reviews. L'environnement est agréable, dans un golf fleuri, mais assez isolé. Cependant vous avez un très bon restaurant sur place avec des prix très corrects pour manger en famille avec une belle vue sur le golf et les reliefs qui entourent le site. Une supérette est ouverte jusqu'à 20h30, très pratique. Enfin les propriétaires sont très aimables et très disponibles. Communication with Della prior to our stay was perfect, with all our questions answered. Check in process very straightforward and clear instructions given. Location is far away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to all surrounding areas. Villa was clean and well maintained with all the added extras you would want for a fun and joyful family holiday. Della and Neil were great, easy to get hold of and very helpful. The views over the 13th hole are great. A car is recommended. You need your own swim towels. The restaurant and shop on site are great and reasonable prices. The pool (in the sun) and outside dinning area (that luckily was in the shade all day) were a favourite of ours. Second time in staying in one of Della and Neil's villas and would return. Well equipped villa and onsite supermarket (Spar) although we liked grocery shopping at the Mercadona which is about 15 minutes drive away but good place for fresh produce, although there are markets in Murcia and Cartagena as well. We did use the restaurant once but enjoyed using the villas bbq. Nice beaches at Los Alcazares (about 30mins drive) and a lovely hotel for a meal - La Encarnacion. Enjoyed the pool as temperatures were around 30°C. Plenty of local wildlife to watch including housemartins that nested by the pool. Nothing was to much trouble. Villa is priced correctly and good value . But the resort is quiet just as we expected. Pool cleaned twice while we were there so that was great .
