This is a great hotel. It is right in the old town and has everything that you could possibly need including gym, coffee shop near the reception and good clean room. The rooms are small but they are clean and the location can not be beat.

Platzl Hotel Munich is truly exceptional. The staff were absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and consistently professional throughout my stay. Breakfast was amazing, with a wide selection of fresh, high‑quality dishes that made every morning enjoyable. The restaurant was fantastic as well, offering delicious Bavarian and international options in a beautiful setting. The hotel is in an ideal location to explore the old town and beyond by foot, but still quiet despite the central location. The bathroom was modern with a great shower. We were grateful to be offered a very early check in after travelling for over 24hrs.

The hotel is in the heart of Munich and that was a huge plus for us. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. We did not initially purchase the room with breakfast but ended up having breakfast there everyday because it was really great with lots of healthy options. If we visit Munich again we will definitely stay at Platzl Hotel.
