Great decor and very comfortable bed/pillows. Loved the bathtub and shower combination. It would have been great to have an English version of the history of the hotel.

It’s a hard review to write, because there is nothing wrong with this property. I got a suite and had a plenty of space, everything was mordent with a huge terrasse and didn’t not hear ANY noise ever (nor from the street nor from neighbours), which is a big bonus. Great location and close to everything. But “the devil is in the details”, and those details, unfortunately, did not meet my expectations. I reasonably enjoyed my stay, but human body hairs and animal hairs under my pillows were not to my liking. The receptionist upon the check in told me “you check in at 3pm” (at 11am), which I totally get. But then 3 other travellers were given keys to their room straight away in 15 min after me. It would be nice to hear something like “I’m sorry, but your room will not be ready until 3 due to late checkout option of another guest in your suite”. The initial statement made me feel like everyone gets to check in early but ME. I actually had to enquire why I’m the only one who ends up in the hotel lobby with no shower for all this time, all they had to do is to explain the situation to me initially. Another day I came back to see a garbage container on top of my toilet. I put it down, but was it some kind of statement. Anyway the hotel was adequate, but don’t expect fabulous. The price is accurate to what I got. It’s worth a stay, but will pick another accommodation next time.

Clean and well decorated rooms. Bathroom, especially the toilet area was too small. No kettle in the rooms and very limited breakfast. Only pizza for dinner.

Room was very clean and well maintained, the staff were exceptional, extremely friendly and helpful, they even put up with my attempts at speaking German. we only had breakfast there once and it was very good, but there were so many places in the vicinity to frequent (Try Wimmers Backerei). We would both highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who wishes to visit this beautiful City.
